What a time to write the first newsletter. I have been toying with the idea for many months now, but wanted the first post to be about the most special time of the year (in my opinion anyway!).
I thought I would put together a Festive Guide to help you embrace those Magical Christmas Experiences that our region has on offer…here are my top 10, enjoy!

There might be time before, during or after to share some special time with your ;iittle ones to get some tasty (or not so much!) baking done. This BBC website has loads of easy access reciepes to enjoy:

Sometimes you just need to get out and apparently there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing - so wrap up and lets get exploring. Walking in winter with children is different to the summer months and you need to be selective where you go. As a starting point, here is some inspiration form our friends at the National Trust:
It might be time to make sure that you know where the sledge is just in case. There is always run on at the shops once the snow starts falling, so get in early and ensure your sledge is ready to go once it starts falling.
Local Christmas Decorations
Visit the Christmas decorations in town centres, garden centres, villages, shopping centres or look out for a house that has truly embraced decorations ‘Deck the Halls’ style.
Sing Christmas Carols
You will find information about local services at your closes church/cathedral or this one outlined below is pretty special, we went to it a few years ago. Be sure wrap up warm though!
